About me
About me
I am currently a GPU computing Engineer at MooreThreads. I obtained my master of science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) Department, Samueli School of Engineering at University of California, Irvine. Before that, I graduated from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a Bacholar of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department, Grainger College of Engineering.
I am currently working on operator kernel optimization in both "top-down" and "bottom-up" approaches. I collaborate across different teams to coodinate hardware, compiler, and software (kernels) to deliver best performance on both graphics and computing.
My primary research focus lies between computer architecture and deep learning, with a focus on Hardware and Software Co-design. I was fortunate to be advised by Professor Hyoukjun Kwon and Professor Sitao Huang to work on efficient AI and its hardware. Prior to that, I gained in-depth knowledge on both high-level (programming, automation) and low-level (system foundations, architecture and micro-architecture).
Before graduting from UIUC, I was an undergraute course assistant for one dissertion-level course, ECE411 - Computer Organization and Design for two semesters. I participated the development of course infrastructures and materials. During my study at UCI, I also grade project works for a similar course, EECS 31L.
